This New Island Resort in Florida Has Oceanfront Villas — and a 103,000-square-foot Indoor-outdoor Spa

Singer Island, a quaint slice of land with picture-perfect beaches and endless opportunities for outdoor recreation, just became a major wellness hotspot in South Florida thanks to the recent opening of Amrit Ocean Resort, an oceanfront property boasting some of the most impressive facilities and well-being amenities in this part of the country.

The resort, which officially opened its doors on May 15, occupies seven scenic waterfront acres and offers 155 guest rooms, including 25 suites and 40 villas. It also has a 103,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor spa blending Eastern and Western wellness philosophies, five food and beverage concepts, a next-level hair salon, and a gym.

“Amrit is the next generation of luxury wellness resorts, and we are excited to enhance our guests’ minds, bodies, and spirits,” Reggie Cooper, the property’s general manager, said in a press release provided to Travel + Leisure

The accommodations are clad in soothing neutrals and elegant furnishings and boast floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful ocean views and private balconies, wellness minibars, serene bathrooms with rain showers and soaking tubs stocked with bath salts, soaps and scrubs, and plush bath robes.

The resort’s spa spans four stories and includes one of Florida’s first indoor-outdoor hydrothermal water therapy circuits, boasting 40,000 square feet of heat therapy, cryotherapy, and hydrotherapy facilities. This includes hot and cold pools, a lap pool, steam, sauna rooms, an inhalation salt therapy chamber, and arctic chill fountains — all designed to detox and relax.

With 25 treatment rooms, including two couples suites with private steam showers overlooking the ocean, the hotel caters to a variety of travelers who can book face and body treatments from a comprehensive menu that comprises reiki experiences, reflexology, facials, and shiatsu massages.

Guests in need of a more structured wellness schedule can sign up for an expert health assessment from one of the resort’s certified experts who, based on the results, recommend a customized wellness itinerary that can include sound and color therapies, acupuncture, ayurvedic treatments, IV infusions, and chakra balancing.

The beauty salon also provides guests with physician-approved hair restoration therapies and non-surgical hair and scalp treatments.

And those in need of a more active vacation can take advantage of the many complimentary workout and wellness classes in the property’s gym and fitness rooms.

Nutrition is an essential part of the Amrit experience, and the property certainly doesn’t lack culinary choices catering to a large variety of dietary preferences and restrictions, such as gluten-free, keto, paleo, vegan, and vegetarian diets. One of the highlights is Tula, Amrit’s signature oceanfront eatery blending Mediterranean and Japanese influences.

Lastly, guests can continue their wellness journey well beyond their check-out date thanks to Amrit’s proprietary platform designed to assist them with setting goals and tracking their progress.

You can book your stay at Amrit Ocean Resort on amritocean.com. Nightly rates start from $629.
