Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have been all over each other since revealing their relationship in 2021, but they had to tone things down when the 44-year-old reality star got pregnant.
Though Kardashian is already a mother of three, the Poosh mogul says her latest pregnancy came with an entirely new rulebook. “Physically I feel great. I like being pregnant,” she recently told Vanity Fair Italia for their latest cover story. “I am obsessed with the idea of being pregnant! But this time, unlike the other three, I am being followed by a different group of doctors who, in the first few months, gave me a lot of restrictions.”
Those rules included a ban on workouts, air travel, and caffeine, to name a few. “Even no sex!” Kardashian told the publication, adding that the precautions added “a little bit of fear” that wasn’t present during her first three pregnancies. Kardashian shares Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8, with her ex, Scott Disick. In June, she revealed she was expecting her fourth child with Barker, whom she married in May 2022.
However, Kourtney Kardashian says her attitude changed after undergoing “urgent fetal surgery” to save the life of her unborn baby. “It took me a while to let go of the fear, I would say right after the surgery I got to the point where I let go, I stopped worrying,” she told VF Italia. “Now I talk to the baby every day, have a positive mindset, keep my head on straight, and say a lot of prayers. And I feel really blessed and grateful.”
She added, “I have a lot of gratitude, yes. It’s not that I didn’t have it before, but maybe since it came easy to me, I took the pregnancy for granted.”
