“So sorry, boys,” the actress quipped in a recent post, noting her sexuality
Julia Fox is done dating men that she hates — actually, she’s done dating men altogether. In a recent TikTok post, the actress seemingly came out as lesbian while stitching a different user’s post that stated: “I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It’s like, ‘Aww, you hate that man.’”
In her add-on to the post, Fox added: “Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian. So sorry, boys. Won’t happen again.”
Fox, 34, has recently been offering more candid insights into her personal life in regards to sex and sexuality. In May, she commented on a TikTok post about a bizarre ad campaign from the dating app Bumble — geared primarily towards women — that told its user base: “A vow of celibacy is not the answer.” Beneath the post, Fox revealed that she had been celibate for more than two years and had “never been better tbh.”
These more public reflections follow the release of Fox’s memoir Down the Drain, which she shared last October. The book explored her previous experiences with objectification, assault, trauma, and more.
Speaking with Rolling Stone last year about the insights of the book, Fox noted: “I think for a long time, I was a ‘pick me,’” using a term for women who seek out male approval. She continued: “I wanted to be hot and look good and have men like me and fawn all over me. I didn’t care if it took a toll on who I really am. It [took] a lot of denial and a lot of lying to yourself.”
Fox shares one son with her ex-husband, Peter Artemiev, and had a public, though non-sexual, relationship with Kanye West in 2022.
