In a France where humans start morphing into animals, Romain Duris plays François, a man whose wife has mutated and whose son is showing signs of imminent transformation. FRANCE 24 film critic Lisa Nesselson explains that director Thomas Cailley has already explored the theme of co-existing with nature, and his latest work “The Animal Kingdom” is both well-filmed and well-acted.

We also look at heated French courtroom drama “The Goldman Case”, about the 1976 trial of left-wing revolutionary Pierre Goldman, accused of killing two people during an armed robbery.

Plus, we review Austrian filmmaker Jessica Hausner’s “Club Zero”, a satire of cult behavior and the wellness industry that unfortunately falls flat.
